        EXERCISING FAITH
February 2004 VT message
Press ever onward whatever may befall,
Listen to the Masters voice, hear His call,
Trust Him, things may not come right away,
Have faith in His word, be patient every day.

We’ll all have to suffer sickness and pain,
For His eternal glory we all hope to gain,
Faith grows stronger if we have to wait
And everything not handed us on a plate.

Have faith in Jesus then we can never go wrong,
In heartache we can sing a sweet triumphal song,
Faith gives us energy when our own strength dies,
In faith we hold His hand and He is by our side.

If our path of life were smooth would faith grow?
It is when challenges come that true faith does show,
Faith means to trust in Him, never doubt His love,
For through your faith you are guided from above.

His promises are sure but you may have to wait awhile,
So struggle through life in faith and always smile,
Never doubt, always trust, it is enough to know
That He leads and guides us wherever we may go.
