CHOICES
The weather is quite frightful,
inside cozy and all warm,
Do we go out in the car or
stay home free from harm?
The choice is not easy the
birds need some seed,
They stand in cold clusters
waiting for their feed.
The cold wind blows the
icy snow sideways,
To go out just for bird seed
on these kind of days
Seems kind of crazy to some,
but the birds may die
Without the seed to eat, then
I would really cry.
So, though you may think us mad
well muffle up warm,
Go out to get bird seed in
this awful storm.
