THE FALL
Dear father Adam and mother Eve,
when in Eden you did dwell,
I try and think of the great beauty
from which you fell,
By partaking of the forbidden fruit
and left Gods grace,
No longer to wander in beauty
and see His face.
And so bring to fruition Gods
wonderful great plan,
Provide tabernacles of flesh
for all earthly man.
All creatures great and small
that here do roam
Could not have left that special
heavenly home,
Neither grand trees or flowers
sweet would grow
On this earth made for us all,
His love to show.
Brave Eve who was the first to realize
what had to be done,
So happiness through knowing pain
could be won.
A gift of Eden sacrificed so we
could come to earth,
One day I want to thank them for.
lifes gift of great worth
