NOT STOPPIN
The taxi driver was really tired,
hed had a bad day,
All hed had for hours was miserable
customers come his way.
Not one decent tip been given
all as mean as could be,
To get home, Im not stoppin for
for nuffin thought he.
The bus driver was in a bad state,
a ton of road works again
Made every run late, in the cold waiting
passenger did complain,
A kid had been sick all over the place,
what a smelly mess,
To get to the depot, Im not stoppin for
nuffin he did confess.
The truck ran empty what a wasteful,
useless trip to make,
And the traffic on the highway was
busy and hard to take,
He had a flat tyre as the rain did
come pouring down,
To get to base. Im not stoppin for nuffin
he muttered with a frown.
I just hope these three did not meet
at a sign or stop light,
Or I can just imagine the scene being
a terrible sight,
But after the bad day that you can
sometimes go through,
Im not stoppin for nuffin can ring
out loud, does it for you?
