EMULATE THE MASTER
How can we emulate the Master,
follow in His ways,
Live a true life of goodness
all our days?
Satan says “it can’t be done
so why even try,”
Put that voice behind you, ignore
his lying cry.

It can be done in little things,
say a kindly word,
Don’t listen to cruel gossip
that is often heard,
Do a simple act of goodness
letting no one know,
And little by little toward His glory
we can surely go.

Keep the commandments well,
try not to tell a lie,
Comfort those hurting or in need,
hear their cry,
For we are His hands and arms
and His tender heart,
So if we try to emulate the Master,
we do our small part.
