MESSAGES FOR THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS
We all know the twelve days of Christmas song,
But that person had got the theme all wrong,
Buy a candle and put twelve notches on one side
Burn a notch as you read a scripture so love will abide
Through this Christmas time, gather all together and read
And learn more of the Saviour, your hungry soul feed.

Here are a few scriptures that lovingly point the way
To have the true spirit of Christmas arrive that day
When we celebrate the birth of that dear baby boy
That brought into the world God’s peace and joy.
Jesus is light, Jesus is love, gave service in humility,
An example to follow, our redeemer, the only one worthy,
He is the good shepherd, our dear Saviour and friend,
Chosen to save us all, and on him we can depend.

So come and gather together for twelve short days,
Learn more about Jesus and all His loving ways,
Show His picture let it shine in the candle’s light
As you read and learn more of His goodness so bright,
Sing a song of praise to show how much you really care
And by Christmas morning you’ll have joy beyond compare.
