More poems about Temple Worship

SEALED ON EARTH AND IN HEAVEN
Two hands touch across the alter, love-light in each eye
As a couple are married forever, so as times goes by
There is no deep sorrow at parting for they will never part,
Sadness, yes, for you miss your soul mate when they depart.

Then the sealing of a child if not born in the eternal plan,
A scene so tender to behold, try not to cry if you can,
But if tears fall they fall in joy as a family is joined in bliss,
And all of heaven at that moment wants to hug and kiss.

The blessings of the temple come to those who wait,
Live a righteous life and hearts with purity radiate,
To those who follow the dear Master, obey His voice,
And strive every single day to make that wiser choice.

I have cried with pure joy and wept tears of sweet happiness
As the sealing power of the temple loved ones did bless,
May the memory of each moment keep me on the right way,
And look forward to the meeting come the resurrection day.
