More poems about Temple Attendance

TOO MANY
So many empty lockers
and too many empty chairs,
No one seems to want to
give up all their worldly cares
To spend a couple of hours in
the temple’s warm glow,
So let His loving spirit over
us all sweetly flow.
I know folks are busy and have
so many things to do,
But a visit to the temple
will help to cheer you,
As you feel the peace and calm
that is always found here,
For the veil is very thin and God
and Jesus are very near,
Come and be fed and guided,
have Them show you the way
Along the path heavenward,
then you will not stray.
Come, relieve the burden of
those who have waited long,
Give them a reason to sing some
great, joyous, triumphal song,
Then we too can go rejoicing
for we have been spiritually fed,
And not only helped ourselves but
have served those called dead.
Lots of empty lockers
and too many empty chairs,
I’m sure it does not mean that
no one really cares,
Hang worldly worries in your locker,
come and fill a chair today,
Then go home rejoicing, uplifted
For you helped a soul along heavens way.
