WHAT WILL I BE DOING
What will I be doing when Jesus Christ comes again?
Will I be ready to serve Him through the millennial reign?
Will I be spared the wrath of God on that wonderful day?
Or will I be struck down like the tares in the awful fray?
Will I be willingly serving others, lending a helping hand,
Or working in Gods temple with His trusted happy band?
Maybe preparing a lesson to teach with much loving care,
Studying the scriptures and learning or head bowed in prayer?
Or will I be complaining finding fault with all those around?
Will I be at a movie with some scenes that would not be found
In places where our Master would never ever dream to go?
Or home watching on the TV some terrible horrific show?
No one knows the time or day when He will come again,
Yet how often do we stop and that if we cause Him pain
By not being ready for His coming one great and terrible day
When in His might and glory He will come and with us stay.
I am trying to imagine the great agonizing fear and shame,
If I was wanting and unworthy on that special day He came,
Too late would be my cry when His sorrow I understood
That in every aspect of my mortal life I needed to do good.
