I KNOW I AM HIS
I would not like to wander in this world of sin
Without the holy Ghost to glow deep within,
Guiding me by its light and words so sweet,
Through the darkness one day God to meet.

I would not like the truth to be hidden from my eyes,
Not know of His glory and of heavens great prize,
Not knowing the path that leads to heaven above,
I don’t know how I’d manage not knowing His love.

I would not like to live not knowing where to go,
Floundering in ignorance, tossed, heaving too and fro
On the seas of uncertainty, feeling lost and alone
In the mists of darkness in deep fear to moan.

But I have the truth and light showing me the way,
I have the Holy Ghost to guide me every day,
I know of his love and His sacrifice divine,
I know that I am His and He, thank God, is mine.
