        ARISE AND SHINE
Arise and shine in the darkest night,
Be a beacon that shows the true light,
You may never know what help you give
Someone, so give them the courage to live.

Shine and another may take hold of your hand
There to save them from the sinking sand,
And as hand touches hand God’s love will glow,
If we shine all the time many blessing will flow.

Shine when temptation comes your way,
Evil cannot stand a light brighter than day,
But lurks in dark corners to trap mankind,
Arise and shine and then evil you will blind.

I do not think we understand the power of His light,
And the impact on others as we try to shine bright,
Never be afraid to let that sweet guiding light shine,
In this world of darkness we need your light and mine.
