FOLLOWING IN HIS FOOTSTEPS
He showed the path for us to follow,
in His footsteps every day,
The perfect example of goodness,
never going astray.
Yet do we follow, do others see His
great light shine
In our countenances, as we strive
for that love divine?
For if we follow His footsteps along
life’s busy way,
Be good, kind and obedient and
always His will obey,
On that special morning when His
precious face we see,
We should hear His tender voice say
“my child come unto me”
