FUNNY COMPUTER
My computer’s gone all funny
the colours not right,
everything looks wiggly, some
programs gone out of sight,
Even when I type words
they come out all strange,
My mouse is very temperamental
and often shoots out of range.
The down button is very stiff
or won’t move at all,
I must admit I want to throw
my computer up against the wall.
I like to play Mahjong sometimes,
It tells me that it is not there,
The icon is fine smiling at me,
it must have wandered off somewhere.
The bold button comes on by
itself in the middle of a line,
It freezes for no reason at all,
I just want to go ahead and pine.
But this old computer has been a really
faithful, useful friend to me,
And we can’t afford a new one,
not in the near future I see.
We have just had new windows
put all through the house
And if I threw my computer through
one my husband would grouse.
So please dear friend return to your
normal helpful ways,
So we both can be very happy for
quite a few more days.
