TEMPLES OF THE MOST HIGH
We come to the temple striving with all our might
To keep the commandments trying to do was is right,
For the temple is a holy place where deity may come,
We often feel their presence as the great work is done.
A holy edifice built in loveliness, in beauty and grace,
A place worthy that one day we may see His face,
We feel His closeness, know of His everlasting love,
The temple is almost like being up in heaven above.
Have you ever stopped for a moment and given thought
Of the words spoken in scripture to us, a precious thought,
That each of us are temples as we constantly strive to be
More like the Master, trying hard from wickedness be free.
Many temples within this great temple of the Most High,
Being enriched with knowledge and hope He may sanctify
Each one of us, and then His true homage gladly show
As His temple and through us may His countenance glow.
