        THE ROCK OF OUR SALVATION
We have the light of the gospel to guide us every day,
Keeping our feet planted on the straight and narrow way,
The rock of Revelation is a gift to us so kindly given
To show the things to do to find our way to heaven.

The Holy Ghost will prompt us to always choose the right,
Keep good and wholesome things constantly in our sight,
Teach us and inspire us, a Rock on which to gently rest,
He is there for us through every hard and difficult test.

If we follow the Master, who showed us the perfect way,
Knowing He too is the Rock of our salvation and Him obey,
We need never worry for look who we have on our side,
We should carry our banner high, our colours never hide.

Then there is Father in heaven who hears every simple prayer,
The rock of His strength, power and comfort is constantly there,
We will have the courage to fight evil and will always dare to win,
Knowing we stand firm and have protection from evil and sin.
