More misc poems about Temple Attendance

OUR FRIEND DOUG
We have many friends in the temple,
one stands out above the rest,
If he were to laugh or smile more
he’d be one of the very best,
I know he has a sense of humour
hidden away somewhere,
It shows through sometimes,
rather than a thorn in a paw kind of bear.
He works hard every Thursday morning,
wishing his men he could clone,
When too many have called to say
they cannot come then he does moan,
Running around in a hurry looking
for brothers all over the place,
Not finding all those he needs
and this puts a scowl on his face.
We all love him dearly and know
he has a hard time to run
The shift on Thursday morning
when enough brothers don’t come,
So come on, help him be happy
and smile, come on your set day,
Then our friend will wear a smile
and all his scowls go away.
Now Doug, please don’t be offended,
in each heart you are so dear,
And it is plain to see you are good
and kind, the Master you are near.
We want to say thank you for all
the things you are willing to do
To help the temple run smoothly
whole short staffed shift through.
