MARS, THE HARBINGER OF WAR
When each of the planets first flew and settled in their ken,
Was Mars the harbinger of war known as even then?
Did it glow bright and red in the beauty of the night sky,
Does it’s bigness at present mean great death and destruction is high?

Calamities have seemed to threaten everyone far and wide,
Some areas not used to heat have found nowhere to hide
From the blistering heat, fires rage, no rain, just pain,
And crops ruined because of too little sun and heavy rain.

Many a blackout causing chaos taking sweet peace away,
And using logic if we are without peace surely war comes our way?
By the end of this month Mars will be in it’s brightest phase,
Then maybe all will be well again as in the sky we gaze,

Find it normal once again not large and glowing
With anger against the state the world is living,
Maybe when this planet dulls Venus will shine,
Bringing a touch of love and harmony to your life and mine.

Yet however the plants act as they follow their outlined plan,
We should be in control, able to choose the best way we can
To live aright, we are God’s masterpiece though small,
We have free agency and whatever may in life may befall,

We can act well and behave in a pleasing manner always,
Never blame the time of month or how a planet sways
Or falls, just remember who we are in this plan,
And go on loving and living the very best way we can.
