More poems about Humourous thoughts

“I have found a little dog” do come and see,
My husband’s voice called happy as could be,
I thought this quite an odd statement to make,
He was in the bathroom for goodness sake.

I ran up stairs puzzled as you can understand,
Interrupting all the many things I had planned,
“Come and sit on the loo, tell me was is seen
In the mixed patterns of pretty cream and green?”

Looking hard, then I did cry, I see him quite clear!
He has a tipped head, one long and one short ear,
Sitting down holding up a paw to give a shake,
Why did we before this observation never make?”

The same tiles in the kitchen, him we did plainly see,
Many little dogs looking up to shake paws with me,
But in the downstairs bathroom the is no sign at all
Of the little dog anywhere from wall to close wall.

He is in the hall, so why not all over the place be found?
On hands and knees, then wondering if my mind was sound!
Then another dog was found with a big head and cute nose,
I hope it’s just a vivid imagination that constantly shows.
