HE LIFTED ME
I was tired and weary, drowning in sin,
I prayed to Him,
and
He lifted me.
Sinking in sorrow when a loved one died,
To Him I cried,
and
He lifted me.
Nothing seemed to go right, failure all around,
His love I found
and
He lifted me.
Suffering in pain, almost seemed too hard too bare,
I knew He did care
and
He lifted me.
Mists of darkness came over my keen mind,
His hand I did find,
and
He lifted me.
