More poems about Temple Attendance

        BACK TO THE TEMPLE
We have been on holiday during the temple close,
Now we will return once more to that place of repose,
Feel again the tranquillity, feel of His love divine,
Feel what it may be like in heaven, your rest and mine.

Gentle hushed voices, speaking things that are kind,
A more peaceful place would be very hard to find.
Working there is a joy, a sweet blessing from God above,
Where we constantly get to know Him, find His love.

The temple is somewhere to grow in understanding,
A way of true learning, more knowledge always finding
As we listen carefully great wisdom we will gain.
So through our trials we will understand the pain.

Gain knowledge of His kingdom, know the way to tread,
That will lead us back to heaven guided by Jesus, our head.
A thrill of expectation comes as I quietly enter inside,
There the love of our God for us He can not ever hide.
Come to the temple, come and share this great eternal love,
Be more ready when He calls you home to heaven above.
