More poems about Places

A MUST
When on vacation there has to be certain thing
For a perfect holiday to our family to always bring.
There are always friendly faces with a happy smile,
Wonderful things to see to make it all worth while.

But as we drive through there is one thing we need to see,
Big Tim Horton signs as bright as they can be,
For, says our son, though we would not know,
It’s the best coffee, and very far for one he would go.

He says the good taste never differs wherever you go
Across this great country of ours, coffer drinkers know
Where to go to get their coffee fix, their get up and go.
So he does not like the place if the sign it does not show.

Now we like that rich, smooth good hot chocolate,
Like to go and have one if out on a sweetheart date.
And the rich creamy soup, is a meal all by itself,
Much better than in a can bought off any store shelf.

The peach juice and muffins, cookies and cake,
As well as donuts and tim-bits some beating take.
So as we travel all around a sign we must see
Or its not the place this family should ever be.
