More poems about Friends

FOR SISTER
LOIS COOK

Some friends you’ve known
since you were small,
Cannot imagine your life
without them at all,
Then Lois dear you come alone,
known only a month or two,
And you have become a friend
to us so strong and true.
Part of the temple family,
learning side by side
Along the road of truth and light
and love we cannot hide.
We appreciate the sacrifice
for you to serve here,
The way you quickly leaned
and to all became so dear.
We will miss your happy smile
Your willing, tender heart,
Of this loving temple circle
you have become a part,
We will not say goodbye
just a sad farewell,
Knowing if we all make it
together we will dwell.
Thank you for your friendship,
thank you for your love,
May the Lord bless your on your
journey to heaven above.
