More poems about Abiding Love
NO WORDS
Sometimes love needs no word
Spoken, for each heart is heard
Beating as one, love unspoken,
Weaving a web not to be broken.
The touch of a hand, a look in an eye
Means nothing to one who passes by,
Yet to those in love, hearts did speak,
A blush quietly touches each cheek.
Wiping away a tear on the back of a hand,
With a look simply saying I understand.
The silence of love is indeed a beautiful thing,
Words known but not spoken joy can bring.
It does not mean I love you should not be said,
But sometimes the right words stay in your head,
But the look and touch and a deep loving sigh,
Can speak a volume, when words pass you by.
