MANY THANKS
It is time someone stopped and gave a hand
To two groups of people across this great land,
Taken for granted, often completely ignored ,
But now we few here, you do loudly applaud.
The school bus drivers and the lunchroom folk,
We know the jobs important, not easy and no joke,
But we teachers are happy, worry gone right away,
For the children are in good hands the rest of the day.
The bus drivers carry their precious load with care,
Full of kindness, understanding is found everywhere,
Making sure all is well as on the bus pupils have to ride,
So dear bus drivers we say thank you with true pride.
Now for the lunchroom folk that work so hard each day,
Patience is a virtue is true for these our friends I'd say,
The children watched over with sweet loving tender care,
Its almost like having a group of parents being there.
What would teachers do without these, each a dear friend,
Worry off our shoulders, stopping us going round the bend,
We just want to let you know we will always grateful be
For your love and caring, holding each child in safety.
