A while ago, i recieved a letter from a person who had been seeing a group of crows hanging around his house. after reading my page, he assumed that meant someone was going to die. i got another letter from a person who saw a single crow flying over his brother's wedding and thought that the poem saying "one crow for sorrow" meant that the marriage was going to fail. these aren't the only depressing letters i've gotten.
I'm sorry that my page about crows has caused so many people to be worrying about death and disastor. people seem to be forgetting that crows are gregarious birds and they have to hang out somewhere. there's almost always a group of crow hanging out near me, and nobody in my family has died. i see a single crow flying around all the time and nothing evil has happened. the first thing you must remember in interpretting omens is that, not everything is an omen. man, you people are superstitious. you shouldn't even believe in omens.
now, crows in dreams and visions is an entirely different matter. a much more difficult matter, in fact. the problem with interpreting dreams is that the only person who can do so, is the person who had a dream. a particular object means different things for me than they will for you. for instance, when i dream of spiders crawling on me, i take that as a very good omen because i love spider (she is one of my spirit animals). most people just think it's creepy. when i dreamt of becoming a vegan, i was highly disturbed for weeks afterward. most people would just shrug that off.
i can give a couple different interpretations of crows in dreams. for people who are uncertain what an object in their dream may mean, it could help to read a lot about that object and then decide what sounds best to them. maybe when you dream of crows it does mean something bad, but then again, maybe it means you're going to get laid. who knows. anyway, here's a few different interpretations.
