Goodness Within
Those who are illumined within find satisfaction within the Self alone. They know thart they are
eternal spiritual beings, and that this life is temporary and illusory. There only worldly interest is
to share this knowledge with others. Saints, spiritual or political leaders who are not atttached
to worldly pleasure, psychics or healers who use their power to spread faith and wisdom, etc.
are stongly attracted by the Mode of Goodness.

SELF ABSORPTION IN THE MODE OF PASSION
Influenced by the mode of passion, a person with developed intrapersonal ability may use
his/her insight to create a lucritive profession through sharing his insight with others. Sincere
therapists, faith hearlers, psychics, etc. who are stongly in the mode of Passion are drawn to
help others enjoy this temporary material world. Since the three Modes of Nature are usually
mixed, they may also direct people towards spiritual realization (Goodness) or try to exploit
others (Ignorance); but the influence of the Mode of Passion is to find temporary happiness and
pleasure.
Darkness Within
Autism, hauntings, black magic, insanity, etc. may be instances of higjly developed
intrapersonal intelligence under the powerful influence of the Mode of Ignorance.
