Dear Rhiannon
Is there such a thing as a love potion? Recently a friend of mine used a formula from a book that she said would make a certain person fall in love with her. It seemed to work.

Dear "In Love"
There are many recipes published today that the authors claim to be love potions. These ingredients, if skilfully blended, are only a small part of a love spell. A love spell also depends upon forming a "magickal link" and telepathy. The potion alone cannot work.
Love potions are really romance potions, and while they appear to work on the surface, they seldom help people to sustain lasting relationships. Before attempting any love spell or before administrating any potion, there are some questions you should ask yourself.
Firstly, if you draw someone into a relationship against their will, are you prepared for the consequences? As there are consequences to every action, an action of manipulation will certainly bring a negative reaction.
Secondly, realize that you cannot possibly love someone you wish to violate. Any potion given to someone in order to alter their choices is a violation of that person's rights.
Finally, how secure are you? If you feel you need help to attract love, you better learn to love yourself. When a person is secure, has self-esteem and can give unconditional love to her/himself, a person can love another in the same way. By making the most of yourself, you can attract that "special someone" naturally.
