28 September 2003 The current wave of virus spam purporting to be from Microsoft is filling up my Yahoo mailbox hayesstw@yahoo.com every 15 minutes, so it is virtually unusable, and your mail is likely to bounce. Please do not use it for anything important, and if you do send mail there and it bounces, send copies to one of the other addresses on our contact page. Please do not use the following addresses:

Steve retired from Unisa at the end of September 1999, and so none of the unisa.ac.za addresses will work after that.

If you have address with "diakonos" in it, delete that from your address book as well. Unfortunately our former ISP, Fastlight Data Services, merged with NetActive, South Africa, which then dropped Fastlight's previous customers with no warning. As a result a lot of e-mail sent to our "khanya.bbs.co.za" addresses either bounced or disappeared into a black hole in cyberspace.

To avoid this kind of problem, we now have some "permanent" e-mail addresses. Please make a note of these addresses. They should last a bit longer than some of the others.
