This site is under construction (I haven't compiled the images yet).

In 1978, I saw STAR WARS. That same year, I got Darth Vader in my Easter basket. But I asked the Easter Bunny for the WHOLE set? My first question was "But who's he going to play with?"

Needless to say, I've lost all the old figures I had (actually they were taken away and sold but that is another story).

But then in September of 1997, a nice woman named Rebecca Byrd gave me a 12" Han Solo Collectors Series figure for my birthday. "Oh shit", I thought. Who's HE gonna play with?

So I started on a treck to attain the entire collection of the 1997 Star Wars Collectors Series Figures. I hit every Walmart, Kmart, Venture, Kay-Bee, Service Merchandise, JC Penny, and Target in town. Then I started looking in other citys. After I managed find about six figures in all, I decided to find out just how many there were. I rushed to the nearest collectors store and bought a collectrs price guide. Shit! There were at least twenty figures. I had come too far now to turn back. But I had to act fast. According to a collectors magazine, the '97 edition was accumulating value FASTER than any of the other Star Wars collectibles!

I managed to get the rest from EBAY, an excellent bidding site for just about anything you are looking for. They have an great system where you can view a users FEEDBACK from other transactions before you bid.

Several hundred dollars later...

Here is the 1997 Star Wars Collectors Series in it's entirety. Feel free to copy, link or whatever else you need to do with these images...
