I've tried to avoid commenting on your last entry about the "L" word, but it is just about twenty years since I said those words to my wife and although we are now just a couple weeks short of our eighteenth wedding anniversary (spent some time together before making it legal) and yet it seems like such a short time. The love and the romance have lasted through all the troubles that life (and ourselves) could throw at us. We've shared a lot together and look forward to many more years.

Uh, okay, truth in advertising makes me add a footnote that this is my second marriage (that's how I have a son older than you). Nevertheless, I still say three cheers for love and romance!
