And I remember the Radiohead summer plain as day, too. Hours on end working in the University library...long hot days at home... being on crutches for the first time in my life... meeting Christien. *sigh*

How true, your reflections in your last entry...while reading it I was reminded by how much various songs that I have unconsciously stamped into my soul, forever to replay the joys and sorrows in my life. Perhaps it is because I have no musical ability, except for ears decent enough to enjoy the sounds, that I attach myself so much to the music I listen to.

The hardest, is the songs that bring back the not so nice times in my life. But for the memories that they relive, I've realize that it is better to have both good and bad in your life, than to have gone through life without the peaks and valleys. Sometimes crying is good... it sure releases a lot of pressure and stress.

Your recent writings seem to indicate to me that you are at the edge of the cliff called love, standing and looking around, enjoying the view but afraid to view too far over. Your partner seems to be normal in every sense by the descriptions in your journal. I would venture to say that he seems to be the "one". But nobody knows that answer except the Man. Take some advice from an old person (39ish), "you get what you put in." It seems to me that your a reasonable person (?), so I think that if I were a betting person, Derek is a pretty good wager. But if the relationship doesn't work out, it is because both parties failed.

Anyway, thanks for the reflections...

P.S. Your entries have become less frequent, must mean that your either real busy or busy pondering.
