Dear diary, The Radio Free Hawai`i story is getting interesting. There've been a couple of articles in the papers so far which pretty much confirm that I'm not the only one severely bummed by its disappearance. RFH listeners are anything but apathetic, and apparently there are now petitions going around and fundraisers planned to get the station -- somehow -- back on the air. There's going to be some enormous rally next Friday. I think I'll probably go. Admittedly, some of the "typical" listeners they have scare even me, but I still feel like the station's done me good over the last few years (hell, I was voting for songs before I was electing presidents), so I should do something to help 'em out. I never did get one of their new bumper stickers, anyway. And now (and I mean, while I was typing this) their old web page has been taken down (by "forces unfriendly to Radio Free"?). My bet is the takeover included the station's webspace. That sucks. Oh wait... they just moved. I found them again. Clever clever!
