Character Profile: Earl Manong Earl Manong is a leader among men. Charismatic, strong and cunning, Earl Manong has successfully gained the support of many of the Earls who look to him for leadership. Earl Manong is a big man, with thick brown hair, a short but broad beard, broad shoulders and a barrel chest. He is experienced and swordplay and war fare. Manong takes himself very seriously, he is ambitious and is not above bending the law to get his way. Meaning's land and wealth is second only to the royal family. His army is greater in size and experience than the King's, though the king still has nominal support from most of the other Earls who's pledged soldiers would make Manong think twice about a direct assault. The fact that Manong has organised the recovery of prince Archydor has boosted his standing greatly, as most nobles consider Archydor the true king. Manong is hoping to get enough support to challenge the king. Act 2: Manong was a Traitor! All along plotting to take power for himself and never expecting us to actually get the prince back alive. Killed in the night by Pip, in the middle of his own army, only one night before the One-Day War, he is no longer in a position to do very much at all... created: 14 February 1998 | Last Updated: June 23, 2001 |
