Our meetings are informal and last for around 60 minutes. They are held the first and third Thursdays of every month at the Morrison's in the Madison Square Mall, at 6:30. Come early if you want to go through the cafeteria line and eat during the meeting.
A typical meeting includes several impromptu speeches and one or two prepared speeches. Each prepared speech is also evaluated by another member, whose goal is constructive praise and criticism. The meetings are designed to enhance listening skills as well as being able to think on your feet. If you are required to make formal presentations as part of your job, or if you just want to be a better communicator, Toastmasters may be for you.
The cost is very reasonable. National and Club Dues of $24.00 are paid twice a year. This makes Toastmasters the best deal in town.
