Science Museum
Our favorite museum is the Science Museum of
Minnesota.
It has a big Omni Theatre that makes you feel
like you're really in the movie. It makes you sort of dizzy when
watching the movie making you want to fly forward. There are many
exhibits to see. One of them is the Egyptian mummy, it's real.
There are X-Ray pictures of his skeleton.

This is the mummy. It has a toe that fell off.
His skin is brown because they soaked him in some kind of gook.
There's a whole Egyptian exhibit around him. A statue of a girl
shows the clothes that the Egyptians wore.

The bones that you see here are old dinosaur
bones. It is a Diplodocus and is very tall. Near the bones are
three telephones on a table. They tell about the Diplodocus and
the other dinosaurs.

In the background of this picture is the
Diplodocus, we are sitting at the telephone table. The bright
table in front has a small circle of amber. The rectangular table
to the right has different fossils that you can put a piece of
paper on and shade over with a crayon.

This is the fossil lab. There is a 20 foot
dinosaur crocodile in the front. There is a lady through the
window that tells about dinosaurs and their teeth. She has
dinosaur models to explain about them. She likes to ask questions
about the things she has. There is big tooth that belongs to a
T-Rex, she had us guess that.
