David, Cheryl, Bridget and Cathy at Niagara Falls

Betsy Jenkins

Dear David,

I learned from you what a force for good one person can be. I never met you in person, but your good soul shone through in your humor and your kindness and your love for your family. When I first joined Agape, you wrote to me and wanted to know all about me and you told me all about your job and how much you adored your family. When my father was in the nursing home and I was so frightened that he was there..you talked to me about nursing homes and helped me feel less afraid. I will never forget that.
Thank you for your friendship and for being you, David. You deserve a very special place in Heaven and I hope I can meet you there in person someday. Until then, know that your love shines on in the hearts of all of us who knew you.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hello all!
To answer Bridget's Q, What penpal meant to me...
I can answer that with only 4 words.......The Feeling Of LOVE!
No where else on Prodigy did I feel so easy with a bunch of people. No where on Prodigy did I feel so welcomed, so interested, so LOVED! I truly think that God answered many of our prayers, and through modern technology, brought us together!
Gee Beck, and I though Bridget's mail service was slow...you'll get it soon.....I made up some copies (Xerox) of a family portrait that I had. I will be more then happy to send you one if you choose to have a new dart board! Remember, its only a xerox copy, nothing special ..except I'm on it:-)
Bridget, I had to read your note a few times to really get the full impact on what you were saying. If I were never to see any of you, or ever hear from any of you again, I will always have my memories, the warm feelings that I have experienced knowing you all, and the many arguments with Cheryl:-) She is getting more understanding with time!Beck..The poem was beautiful! Now my turn:
If you come cheerily,
Here shall be jest for you
If you come wearily,
Here shall be rest for you
If you come borrowing,
Gladly we'll loan to you
If you come sorrowing,
Love shall be shown to you
Under our thatch, friend,
Place shall abide for you
Touch but the latch, friend,
The door will swing wide for you!
Nancy Byrd Turne
Hope you enjoy it! I follow it!!
Love..David!
