After this life what?

I believe that when we are part of God's family that our consciousness never ends: that when our bodies die, our souls and spirits continue to live. That we will spend the rest of eternity in the presence of God as our appreciation of His grace, mercy, and love continually grow.

In God's presence we will feel utterly fulfilled, totally satisfied, and overflowing with joy -- I already feel this way when I lose myself in worship of Him. How much greater it will be when we shed these mortal frames.
