Pesto
The most traditional Genoese sauce, can be used on all kinds of pasta.
1 | cup | Basil | Fresh |
3 | cloves | Garlic | |
1/4 | cup | Olive Oil | Good quality |
1/2 | cup | Pine nuts | (Pinoli) |
1/2 | cup | Parmesan | Grated |
Salt |
In
a blender, combine basil, garlic, nuts, and cheese. Slowly add olive oil while blender is running.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
