California teddy bear artist Denis Shaw creates his bears in the woodsy community of La Honda, which you can see (well, the woodsy part anyway...) in the background of his pictures (he's a good photographer, too). Articles about Denis and his bears have appeared in teddy bear publications here in the US and abroad and he and his bears have appeared at conventions here and abroad as well. Denis has given seminars in bear creation and is too modest to give me a complete list of accomplishments to enumerate here. The bears presented on this page are only a small selection of the work of this talented artist.
