The Obligatory Spinning Pentacle

Spinning Pentacle

Well there it is... in all its glory...

Since the spinning gold pentacle (or pentagram, whichever way you want to refer to it) seems to be required material on every Pagan site on the web I figured I'd better put it up just in case not having it would get me kicked out of the guild.

I really hope it's obvious that I'm joking here. Actually I think that this graphic is absolutely gorgeous work (tis © 1996 to Marc Shannon by the way) and the creator definitely deserves much credit and praise for his talent.

However, I do have to admit that it gets to be amusing when the only thing the Pagan community seems to be able to agree on is that this is a great graphic.

So here's the deal. Somewhere on the page I've put another copy of the graphic on this page. Find it, click on it, and send in an entry.

The winner gets a free tarot reading (Celtic Cross, though if you insist I'd be willing to try something else) and the contest is planned to run until November 14. This is completely free and so I reserve the right to make the decisions and set all of the rules. If there's a larger-than-expected volume of entries I may offer single-card readings to several others.

It's entirely my choice, any whining risks being disqualified.

So now you can go to the library and start looking around!
