Where To Begin?

Okay, so you've seen a movie, read a book, or talked to a friend who turned out to be Pagan. Now you're interested and faced with a mountain of information and no idea where to start. What you don't want to do is run to the nearest newsgroup or message board about some sort of Paganism and demand that they tell you everything they know. Lots of requests like this show up and: 1) After a while people get sick of them 2) Even if they wanted to, there isn't a brief way of telling you everything about Paganism or Witchcraft. So what do you do? READ. Read as much as you can get your hands on. If your local library doesn't have books and you can't afford to get them from a bookstore or online bookseller then read the information that people have put onto their websites. This way you'll be exposed to lots of things that will help you later in deciding what YOU believe, and you'll know enough to be able to ask more specific questions (which in turn are more likely to get helpful answers). For now just get as much information as you can, after a while you'll find yourself mentally sorting through it and making sense of some of it. Want to return to the library?
