I tried to be on time, I honestly did! But exams have a habit of blocking out ever bit of pleasure in one's life.
Ever had one of those days in which everything goes wrong? It's like something out of a funny sitcom-- the main character has the worst case of bad luck, you can't help but feel better about your life.
Last Monday, my Discman and a couple of CDs (plus some miscellaneous things) were stolen from the car. The next day, a couple of school computers broke down. Later that afternoon, I found out I had to redo a brochure cover due to some typos. When I got home, I found out the hard disk died. The rest of the week was plagued by mundane "uh-oh"s.. but the weird thing is that it has all been funny.
I was initially mad at having something stolen, but after that, it was all very amusing. I wonder if I've finally stepped over the edge and have lost my sanity.
Anyway, the loss of my hard disk has set me back a little bit. I'll try to catch up, but this month promises to be a very hectic month. I'd also like to remind some people that I've lost ALL my stuff, including addresses. Some of you are incredibly elusive--if you have not heard from me, you can pretty much assume I haven't been able to obtain your address. Please write me ASAP.
May your hard disks live long and prosper.
