DoubleTree Media is a two-story building with a simple metal sign on the door. The first floor is where Fuego runs the normal business. There is a wide selection of ISA sanctioned music and entertainment. She also has four private rooms to try out any purchases (or to have private meetings). Whenever the shop is open, she keeps a fully loaded, pump action shotgun under the counter, just in case. Upstairs, she keeps a small apartment with an office and a spare room. She keeps a submachine gun and a few grenades in her apartment in addition to more conventional accessories. What most don't know is that there is a basement. The entry is behind a sink in a utility closet. It was converted
into fallout shelter in the 1950's, so it is built to last, and does not show up on scans of the building. Fuego uses it to store illegal materials. She even has a black term (no connection to the Net) to store any and all digital media that she needs.
Fuego bought the DoubleTree store shortly after the Second American Revolution. She had been a talent agent for a number of years, but was growing tired of the lifestyle. When
the ISA was created, she saw the hideous possibilities of its censorship programs and began collecting copies of anything and everything that would be illegal. She realized that she would have to specialize, otherwise she would be facing a massive data overload, so she aimed towards art and music. She has an impressive collection of uncensored classics of literature,
music, visual art, and theatre. Although not her focus, she also has picked up a large number of philosophy and theology tracts. She has taken a few yogangs into her favor, but she is very careful about trusting any individual. Furthermore, no one knows where her stash is kept. She keeps a rough catalogue in her mind, and everyone who requests something must wait until the next day to receive it. Since she is very careful with her information, the ISA hasn't found out about her yet. She knows of the CyberRevolution and will help (provided they come through the correct channels) whenever she can, but she wants to avoid the front lines if at all possible.
