Handle March Hare (14)
Real Name Maxwell Donne
Yogang Vidiot (Disavowed)

Maxwell's life did not start well. His father was a cold and distant biochemist with Petrochem, while his mother was a jealous and overprotective housewife. To add further fuel to the fire, he had a brother, Victor, who slid between violent psychosis and suicidal depression. The years of being both smothered and ignored, plus the numerous times he both rescued and needed rescue from his brother took a toll on Maxwell. He became nervous and jittery; he is now virtually incapable of dealing with stress. Yet, he remained a very bright and sensitive child, he just needed a barrier between himself and the outside world. Eventually, he found one, a camera.
Maxwell's life in the Vidiots (group K18) was going well; he even earned a nickname, TickTock. Regardless of the respect he earned, he insisted on working alone. All that changed one week in September. Maxwell had a crush on New Violet (an established Vidiot), and when she asked for his help on one of her stings, he just couldn't turn her down. Unfortunately, something went wrong, BuReLoc captured almost all of them, and sent them to the same camps they were working to expose. The only one to escape was Maxwell. A rival accused him of chickening out and causing the group's downfall. The leaders of K18's were so enraged they immediately expelled him. He was alone. The isolation coupled with the capture of his crush served to make his fear particularly intense. Only one thing could have made it worse, and it happened, the Change. He came out a Jammer and was terrified of ending up at one of the camps. Using courage he didn't have, he went to K18 and begged for their help. They turned him away, telling him to deal with it on his own, just as he always wanted. After a week on the streets, he received an offer of sanctuary from the Mad Hatter and his life with the Disavowed began.
The Tea party has learned to use Maxwell, now known as the March Hare, as an expert on surveillance. He does not actually go out and place cameras or go undercover, but instead, he both gives directions on how to go about it and runs the communication network. In order to help him control his fear, he takes a drug made for him by the Trinity Project. It calms him down tremendously, although it does also slow his reflexes. He doesn't realize it yet, but he has become addicted to the drug, both psychologically and physically. Even with the drug, he seems jittery and nervous. He talks very quickly and stumbles over his words. Many of the Disavowed have learned to recognize him by his brown ponytail falling to the middle of his signature purple jacket. What they do not realize is that the jacket is actually a specially designed Comm system which only broadcasts in the supersonic radio bandwidths. His personal causes are easy, he is paranoid of both betrayal and capture (he has at least four escape routes out of the city at all times) and he hates the Vidiots with an absolute passion (although he still misses New Violet). He is easily scared and will fight to the death to escape capture. One must treat him gently, or he is likely to explode.
