HAN SOLO
Han is the proverbial "smuggler with a heart of gold". Behind the gruff and macho exterior, Han would do anything for his friends (eventually). Han's had his ups and downs, being encased in carbonite for Jabba the Hut, having his ship flown into the heart of the Death Star, and being tied up and almost roasted by a group of Ewoks, but things always seem to work out in the end. He got the girl,didn't he?

DID YOU KNOW?...Ford actually thought Han should die at the end of Return of the Jedi. He thought Han would best serve the situation by giving it the weight of sacrifice. Fortunately, George Lucas did not agree with him.
