Gateway is holding its ever popular Comics by the Pound Sale, the week of June 23rd- 27th. Once again you can choose from thousands of comics for only $1.00 per pound! As always you can get the new comics at Gateway every Thursday, either off the shelf or through our free subscription service. Remember, you can buy back issues of comics for 50% off a weekly, alphabetical rotation. For reference the week of the Comics by the Pound Sale will be for comics whose title begins with the letter "G."
Gateway has a great selection of cards in Baseball, Basketball, and Football. We sell by the box and pack. Singles are sold as well, and we discount them 50% on a rotational basis as with the comics. see the comic section for more details.
Gateway is running a league for Warhammer 40,000 this summer, and its off to a great beginning. We have prizes for first and second place as well best painted army and best sportsman. We expect to run leagues on a regular basis. Next up is Warhammer Fantasy Battle league in the Fall. If you are interested in participating in this league, sign up now! We are expanding our selection of board games and expect to be doing more demos in this area. Stop by and see which games we plan to demo and when! While Gateway has for a long time sponsored Saturday tournaments for trading card games, we have scheduled one sanctioned by Decipher Games. On June 27th, Saturday, we will be holding a Star Trek tournament, with no entry fee and great prizes. Gamers mark this date on your calendar! We will continue to hold Magic, Star Wars, and other tournaments throughout the summer. Gateway has the beat selection of packs for trading card games, boxed sets, and modules for roleplaying games, and great board games from Avalon Hill and other companies. We also have a selection of video games and game systems and accessories.
