Jessica Steen as Julia Heller, MD Assigned to Eden Project medical team, Julia Heller accidentally finds herself the only doctor on the advance ship when they hastily depart the stations. Though her chromosomes were skewed toward the medical arts, Julia finds herself improvising as best she can after the crash leaves her with few medical supplies. When the Terrians cure Uly of the Syndrome, it would seem that her greatest challenge was getting Alonzo well and keeping the rest of the group healthy. But Julia has an ulterior motive. She's a member of the Council, a secretive branch of the Station Government. Her assignment is to monitor Eden Project and find a way for the Council to control the planet for eventual settlement . . . under Council rule. Unfortunately for her mission, Julia becomes emotionally attached to the people of Eden Advance. When her Council contact discovers Uly's link to the Terrians, he urges Julia to experiment on him in the hopes of discovering the way to control the Terrians and, therefore, the planet. Julia balks at the idea and experiments on herself instead. When her duplicity is discovered by the members of Eden Advance, they abandon her. Alonzo immediately regrets his initial distrust and brings her back. Realizing that the Council's intentions can only bring destruction to the planet, Julia severs ties with her contact and devotes her loyalties to Eden Project. |
