CHATs AND MUDs
If you have accessed to a computer with modem, telnet program, and time, you'd probably know how to get hooked up with the chat or MUD. The following are my favourite chats, MUDs, and DRs.
CHATS
Chats are multi-user dimensions that allows you to interact with other chatters. I find sharing and learning information, ideas, and opinions, and discovering other people's lifestyles, getting connected with friends and families the most entertaining and beneficial aim of chatting
Chat Manila

The best Filipino chat site I've been to. It is accessed through telnet. The informal main languages are English/Pilipino/Taglish . I made some good friends here most noteworthy of them are Kakai, Ladylors, Niknok, Trollie... Chat Manila has improved over the months that since I discovered it on Febuary 1997. They have new cool facial expression emote commands, swear-tags checker, and cool think/sing command copied from becker. New comers must type Accreq to be have a chat account. They usually held EBs (eye-balls) which are meets to get chatters know for real who they were talking to from chat.
Chat Pinoy

Most popular name is Becker. A rival of Chat Manila, this chat is newer than Chat Manila. Its commands are in no big difference from those of Chat Manila. My friends here are Emina, Belle, Moonprincess, Kaly, Chychy... New users are required to type Accreq, and stay on for an hour to have a permanent account. This chat now tolerates more than one nicks, as long as all nicks are used frequently.
XTC

XTC is a Canadian-based Filipino Chat. Most chatters here are Filipino Canadians, mostly in their late teens to early 20s. Naturally most of them only speak English, they can tolerate Filipino, other than that, they'll kick out any other non-English/Filipino speakers. It's a good place to find Filipino Canadian people around Canada. But beware, chatters here have the bad attittude problem, so if you get here, better bring your own nasty attittude with you. The mods/sups are corrupt, often abuses their powers/commands. There are no swear-tags checker, promotion is not possible unless you got connection from the mods/sups of the chat, or that you lick their ass first(excuse my language). Up to now, this chat is my favourite macking chat, not I do it a lot.

Si vous desirez a parler en français, c'est le meillieur choix, au moins, pour moi. Les conversations ici est surtout pour le fun, une bonne ideé a apprendre le français, et c'est aussi le meillieur cotê a chercher les autres canadiens ou francophones dans le monde entier. Les grammaires ne pas toujours vrai, ne pas plus de importance, aussi long que les bavardes sont compréhensible, a faire les conversations le plus facile typé. Donc, ils sont beaucoup de langages vulgares. Que j'ai-fais?. Ne te inquiéte, ne personne devra punir toi. Enjoy!

Manila Bulletin Discussion Room is where opinions/propagandas are posted/read mostly concerning Filipino politics, economy, culture, news, gossips, jokes, praises as well as criticisms. I posted several messages myself. Discussions can last for days on a particular topic, or a topic may resurface after it's dormancy. If you read the mb dr everday, you'll be updated to what's going on. But most entries are of no concern or importance.

The University of the Philippines Discussion/Bulletin page is just like the Manila Bulletin Discussion Room. Not much difference. The good thing about this is that most intelligent young students or professors can read what you want to spread out. Hopefully, some bright people could actually understand what you are saying, and act on it. I did submit an article here. You should check it out!
MUDS
Before I chatted, I discovered MUD first, it's a RPG text-based multi-playing game in real time. The fun about this is that you got to play with different players in real time. Players logged-in can be as many as 200 at a time. Leveling is fast, because all rolling the dice, recording on papers are all calculated instantly by the computer(DM).

It's a bloody pk-mud, where pking is all that matters. Most players are evil because the saying goes 'it's good to be evil' and it's applicable in this mud. But eventhough I realized this,I keep on playing the good guy or a victim. Ironic, isn't it? I usually create a Paladin character, a lawful good character. Since paladins are one of the weakest classes at pking, they are usually favourite victims of pking. Oh well, sometimes it's worth being killed for what you believe in. I also created a bard, fighter, druid, fighter, shaman. But after a while, it's just crazy, I mean the pking is just unfair for paladins, they don't have good fighting skills, usually crippled in the first round of combat, and they can't even start a fight, or worse can't even take revenge.
ROT (dismantled)

A newbie friendly mud, now dismantled, but in memory of this mud, I posted it here. there are a total of 101 levels for mortals, level 102-110 for immortals. I've never been an immortal, such a position needs dedication to the mud, to stay long hours in mud.
But I've been heroed or I reached 101 after a while. Level 101 is a fun level, there's nothing much to do except explore the rest of the realm, tell jokes/chat, help lower-level characters, and showoff your skills.
Western Realms

This is the mud that I'm currently play when I have the time. I like it because it has a lot of similarities with rot. Mortal levels are from 1-200, immortal levels are from 201-215. My last level was 118. It's getting hard to level, because I have to visit the potion shop in Titan village to buy lots of cure battle wound potions to heal up every other battle with the evil mobs at chesstower. My class here is vampire, one who can create 1 zombie, 1 pet/guardian at a time, and charm lot's of charmees, but I don't have that spell yet.

This is the newest mud John Introduced me into since Western
Realms Pwipe it's players, I was discourage to start from level 1
with my own sweat and blood. John said it's easy to level here,
and there is little difference from Western Realms.and he is the
immortal and hero here so he aids me a lot. My character is Ktlinmgorro who leveled 46 within 2 hours. So this might as well be my new mudding place, that is if I have the time.
