a step in the unification of Romulans and Vulcans. This time Spock and
other people in the "movement" hope to marry a Vulcan and a Romulan. The
Vulcan is Spock's niece, Teska. Teska is not really his niece, he is only
acting as her uncle because she has nobody else in her family. Teska lives
on Earth. While en route to Vulcan, the Enterprise must drop off

The Romulan Strategem
by Robert Greeenberger is another book where the Enterprise -Dtries
to convince a planet to join the United Federation of Planets. When they
arrive, they find Commander Sela there trying to convince Eloh (the planet)
to join the Romulan Empire. The Elohsians will join one side or the other.
During the negotiations, some suspicious events occur such as an explosion
and a fire. The crew of the Enterprise-D must find out what is
going on. It is #35 in TNG series of books.
-
A Fury Scorned by Pamela Sargent and George Zebrowski
is #43 in TNG book series. The Enterprise is sent to Epictetus
III. On this mission, their enemy is not a life form, but the planet's
sun about to go nova. The planet only has a population of 20 million,
but that is too many for one starship to handle. There are no other ships
that can get there in time, so only a fraction of the population could
be saved. With time running out, Data comes up with a dangerous plan that
could save the whole planet, but might destroy both the Enterprise
and the planet. top of book list

I Am Spock by Leonard Nimoy
is not to be mistaken for his earlier book, I Am Not Spock. In
this book, he explains how Spock is a part of him. It is a great book
that tells the reader about his life before Star Trek and lots of events
that occured "behind the scenes" of the show and movies. It is funny and
easy to understand. If you like this book, read William Shatner's Memories
or Movie Memories.
-
Movie Memories by William Shatner is the continuation
of his Memories book. This book describes what happened during
the making of the first seven Star Trek movies (The Motion Picture-Generations).
It starts out hilarious and continues to be funny throughout the book as
he describes the struggles and events of that time. top

Star Trek: The Next Generation Interactive Technical Manual
This is the interactive version of the book that
describes the Enterprise-D. It contains everything from the book and more.
In this version, you can take a guided tour narrated by Jonathan Frakes
(Will Riker) or you can explore on your own and have the computer explain
things when you click on them (voice of Majel Barret Roddenberry). It
is the debut product of the Quicktime VR™ technology that lets you look
around and move on your own. This lets you feel like you can actually
walk around the ship. The program has the Star Trek computer look with
Majel Barret's voice and LCARS graphics. There are also some parts that
give you behind-the-scences information about set design, etc.. ©1994

Star
Trek Omnipedia
Is the computer version of the Star Trek Encyclopedia.
Like most computer versions of encyclopedias, it has all of the articles
from the book and extras like sound and video clips. Like the Technical
Manual, it looks and sounds like Star Trek's Beta 5 computer. One neat
feature that it has is voice command. You can actually talk to the computer
just like they do on the show. It has hyperlinks throughout the articles
just like a web page, and with the Omnipedia 2 upgrade, you can write your
own articles. It also has topic mode, a timeline, charts, and more. I
recommend this product for any Trekker with a computer. ©1995
