I've decided to give my views on the classes as a whole since giving my views on each and every student...well, that'll take close to forever...okayokay, so i'm alittle lazy here....=)
Note that the term relief teacher means: 1. relief to the permanent one and 2. relief upon leaving....=)
Secondary 2 J
My very first impression of 2J was that it was the quietest class around...but that was short-lived. This class has many computer nutz. There are many hardworking ones in here as well; they always clarify their doubts be it during the lesson or after. Keep it up! Teaching 2J usually gives me a sense of satisfaction after class for their enthusiasm for Geography is rather contagious. Thank you 2J for the great Geog lessons which I immensely enjoyed giving you, and also the bear.
Secondary 2 K
Ah yes, 2K...um, 2K is interesting. I became their jie3 jie1, you see they have a family tree with the capable Mrs Koh in the position of Mummy. Anyway, 2K always tries hard at their work. A rather mixed class, there is the boisterous, the silent, the distracted, the hardworking, etc. The list goes on...my most memorable thing about 2K is their friendliness once you get to know them well. Thank you 2K for the wonderful farewell "makeup" Geog lesson, forever friends bears and smiles.
Secondary 2 L
2L sort of took over 2J in the battle of the silent on certain days...reason: unknown. (could be an X-file) This class is generally one who tries hard, but I think that maybe you boys could voice your questions and doubts more so that it can be clarified as quickly as possible. Of course there are the exceptions to the "silent". Nonetheless, I will always hold 2L in high regard. Thank you 2L for all the memories, including the rare havoc that occurs, and of course, the bear.
Secondary 2 M
Right, 2M. This class turned out to be the hardest to handle, unlike the first impression I got from them. This class is also subject to a very high tendency to gossip. Yup. And there is this love for transfer-chess. Teaching them is scary actually...i had to do this one by intuition, but anyway, it still turned out well. *phew* The character of this class is so mixed, yet there is an identity to 2M. Thank you 2M for everything (even though some memories were...uh...scary(?)), really.
Last but Not Least
There are always some students who forever make an imprint into the mind of the relief teacher. I shall not mention any of them 'cos I'm sure they know who they are. Thank you for making my stint in RI a special and memorable one.
Of course, million thanks to Mrs Sylvia Soh for giving me the chance and advice on handling you boys.
